Chocolate Chip Cookies for the Luteal Phase
Chocolate Chip Cookies for Your Luteal Phase
Because yes — I get those cravings too.
Â
Â
Let’s be honest — during the luteal phase (the days before your period), cravings hit hard.
And that’s not you “losing control.” That’s your body communicating.
Your progesterone is rising, your metabolism speeds up, and serotonin tends to dip, so it’s completely normal to want comfort foods.
The key isn’t to fight your cravings, but to choose foods that comfort you and nourish you at the same time.
As women, we’ve been told to “ignore” cravings or to see them as something bad. But listening to your body with compassion is part of healing.
That’s why I love this recipe — it’s warm, satisfying, and made with real, functional ingredients that actually support your hormones.
